    Here at The SRGE, we are dedicated to building a more inclusive construction industry for BIPOC, Women, and LGBTQ-owned construction companies. Our services include providing access to resources; back office support, strategic guidance, estimating, technology procurement support, and compliance reporting. Our efforts aim to catapult participating companies into success within 1.5 years.Surge (noun): A sudden and powerful forward or upward movement.

  • SRGE provides all applicants with a DISC behavioral development assessment at no cost. Then, selected companies can pay for our services in a pay-as-you-go format or a shared revenue model. We can not offer specific details on payment plans until the application process is complete, as we offer customized support per participant company. Payment models will be a part of the growth plan discussion. Our goal is to avoid contributing to financial strain throughout participation. SRGE does receive funding from key partners; thus, the rates of our services and access to software are greatly reduced. Please apply as soon as possible, as the applications for SRGE 2023 cohort close on August 10th. 

  • SRGE Applicants will hear back within 4 weeks of submitting the application. Our applicants are very competitive and we value reviewing submissions holistically, and thoroughly.

  • Yes, we love solo entrepreneurs. If you meet all requirements, we are happy to offer our services. If not, we still have other resources for those developing their business individually.

  • Absolutely! We will consider any small company that demonstrates that the guidance from our program, network, and funding will move the needle for their business.

  • Applicant Qualifications:

    • Must be in Business for 3+ Years

    • Must fall within the specified underserved and underrepresented racial groups listed on JOIN SRGE page

    • Must earn $.5 Million+ in Revenue yearly

  • Companies must fall within the categorization of Construction Professional Services or Construction Related Services.

  • It is our goal to work with as many companies as we can. We select the companies by reviewing applications and interview notes thoroughly through a panel process.

  • We serve construction management companies, general contractors, specialty builders, engineering firms, architecture firms, and other construction-related contractors.

  • We deeply appreciate your interest in our program, but unfortunately, we are exclusively focusing on supporting small businesses, not individuals with existing jobs. Our resources are specifically designed to address the unique challenges faced by established ventures. While we admire your passion for entrepreneurship, we must prioritize our commitment to small business owners.
